After a successful relaunch of season 2, The Magicians began to develop a large and passionate fan base. In order to keep those fans, we curated custom content that would speak to these fans and keep them engaged for future seasons.
SEASON 4
PRE-PREMIERE CONTENT
With a season 4 show, and a loyal fan base, it is important to create content that both satisfies the appetite of the loyal viewer and attracts the potential of new ones.
CROSS-PLATFORM CONTENT
With the landscape of linear television changing, it is important that each marketing campaign consist of cross-platform content to serve unique content to fans and broaden the reach of our audiences. With a show that has such a big fan base, we looked at the research from past seasons and created tailored content. This ranged from behind the scene specialized content pieces, social first scripted shorts, and exclusive San Diego Comic Con content.
SEASON 5
For season 5, I was promoted to creative lead for the campaign. I was responsible for crafting messaging, design, and overall creative strategy. With the final season came challenges of managing the messaging and speaking directly to a very vocal and passionate fanbase.

With the final season, it was important to keep fans engaged and loyal to the SYFY brand even though their show maybe ending. Content was tailored and designed to engage fans across platforms.
